Just as it says. Does this name say boy or girl to you?

It sounds like a nickname to me, so i'd be looking for the full mame to make that determination.

Tho, if i were hard pressed, i'd have to say boy.

At first read, I saw Adil, which makes me think boy, but if I heard it pronounced as written (ad-lee), I would definitely think girl. It comes off as more as a nickname to me.

If it's spelled Adley, it's boy-ish to me, but in the current Adli, it seems like a short form of something undefined.

Blargj. Ok back to the drawing board. lol

We had a instant acquaintance whose son is named Adlee. We liked it as a boys option last time but then this Time started thinking it felt more girly so we crossed it off. I've been thinking of it lately though and wondering if we could Make It work.

Butttt somehow I never thought about the fact that I would then have a Tenley and an adley (spelled different but same sound). I don't like The matchiness of that.

I also looked at Adlai, but dh doesn't le it and I think it leans to sounding feminine as well (even tho it's actually a famous male us politician)
