Hello,
I am in love with wool! I would like to switch over to exclusive wool covers, but dont know what I need.
I have a Disana pull on that I love for night time and I just found out that you can use longies/shorties as covers and would like to try that. I dont know how much I would like wool wraps, but if there is one that I HAVE to try, I will.
So... What should I get? Brands, types, how many? What are your faves? What should I stay away from?
Thanks!
PS-DD is 9months if that helps.

I found it was great fun to take up knitting as a hobby and buy the little turtle knits soaker pattern. I spent an entire winter knitting soakers for my DD. Instead of sitting on the couch watching tv I sat on the couch watching tv and knitting. I brought it along on all car rides. I brought it along to work so I could knit and pump at the same time, took some practice. It was so much fun and not very difficult to figure it out, I had never knit before. So that is what I recommend!

I just bought a few Little Beetle wool wraps and I love them. You can find them at http://betterforbabies.com My SIL even really liked the one I let her try and she's on her 4th kid and has used cloth on all 4 kids. She does also like the Aristocrats, but they were rather bulky for during the day. My daughter is moving up to the next size and I am planning on just using the wool wraps.

My favorite right now is a reusable wrap from www.affordablediapers.com They work great and are very affordable. I'd say you would need a minimum of 4.

If cost isnt an issue ... Loveybums are great ... the LIOs are so easy to use and their wool is so soft.

Aristocrats work great for night time ... I have heard of people dying these as well ... I think this would be so cute ... these are too bulky for daytime though.

I second the recommendation for www.affordablediapers.com ... we have one of these and I love it!!

If you sew at all there are patterns for recycling old sweaters as soakers and longies ... cheap easy way to get great soakers.

Knitting and crocheting and get you some awesome soakers, shorties, longies as well ... http://www.fullvid.com/wool/WSLinks.html has more patterns than you would ever need.

Also if you sew ... I have fallen in love with the Mile High Monkey (MHM) pattern for soakers, shorties, longies ... it is so easy and turns out so cute ... can be used with wool or fleece.

Theres my input ... hope it helps!!
