OK, DD was a huge gainer, a pound a week for 3 months. She is finally holding @ 25 lbs. I never had any supply issues, but I have noticed that I don't produce nearly as much milk right before AF. It's so bad that DD doesn't have very many wet diapers (I am also ECing and her urine is orange). I have to eat a ton of oatmeal, drink water, take blessed thistle, and fengreek just to have enough so she will sleep. To top it all off, I get major PMS and touched out and depressed and angry. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this too?

Yes this happened to me every period. For that week I was always low on supply. I figure that woman have nursed babies for hundreds of years. I just let the baby nurse more often and accepted that it was a part of the process. I did try a few remedies to increase supply but truly my baby was fine.

Yes, this has happened to me the last two months. I have started to keep a journal of my amounts so that I can begin to track how many days the low supply lasts. I EP so I am able to measure in ounces and over the last two months I have produced about 10 ounces less (a day) in the days leading up to and the first few days of my period.

I always had a supply dip before pregnancy as well and just took the fenugreek and let it be what it was. He generally increased solids during that time.
