Hi everyone<br><br>
I'm new to Mothering and just been TTC #2 for about 6 months. Only just started temping again this month though and have a question: Can anyone explain the reasons for temps remaining high right through AF and still high a few days beyond? I'm not ill and the AF I just had was a short but heavy one.<br><br>

Were they at the beginning of the cycle? If it were me, I'd test to if I were pg. If they are always high then maybe it has to do with bfing? I'm not sure, I hate when things go a little crazy when you're trying to chart though, so frustrating!<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/irked.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="irked">:

18 high temps almost always indicates pregnancy (TCOYF), and there are a number of things that can cause bleeding during pregnancy. I'd take a test too!<br><br>

Ah thanks everyone. Yes I have a chart but also have a little girl who hates me being on computer so will have to wait till she takes a nap so I can figure out how to share it here as I haven't set that up yet! My temp just touched the coverline on day 3 of new cycle (would have been day 19 of previous cycle) then has gone back up again. Can't imagine I could be pregnant after all the blood that came out of me, and also boobies have got smaller again and not sore anymore. Still BF my 3.5 year old sweetie girl, although nightweaned her a month ago.

Another high this morning. Is it perhaps too much or too little estrogen? Any thoughts?

The temps do seem high to be pre-o. I am sorry though that I don't have an answer for the cause?
