Ok, my cycles are pretty predictible - usually right as rain. That said, we're in a drought, so perhaps that explains it!

DH and I are TTC#2, we had no problems conceiving DS. I should have gotten AF LAST Thursday on 5/17. Early last week, I was convinced I was pregnant. I took an IC HPT and I see a line, it has color, and it appeared in the time limit. No one else IRL can see it, and only a few people online have seen the line.

So, I understand maybe I'm not pregnant, but then what the heck is the hold up with AF? (I've never been more than 1 day late, except when I got pregnant with DS.)

I must not be understanding your post, because I'm totally confused. Your period is late, and you had a + on a hpt? Even a faint line is a line, and I believe that generally means you're pregnant.

As far as "not being pregnant" and af being late, any number of things could cause that -- stress, illness, etc. But I should think if you're very regular and now you're late, and you have a + on a test, it's looking pretty good in your favor. Just for your own peace of mind, though, you could test again. The + line (if you're pregnant) will get darker as those hormone levels skyrocket. If you tested a week ago with a faint line, it should be dark by now.

I agree, usually a line is a line, even if it is very faint. Maybe you could go to the drug store and buy the most sensitive test they have and that would work?

I have taken about 10 tests - different brands - and only got 1 + and only a handful of people can see it.

I have used FRER, CBE digital, Answer, and internet cheapies.

I'm not feeling ill or stressed... I'm just getting annoyed with not knowing! I want to be pregnant again so badly that perhaps I convinced myself there was a line when there wasn't or something! I'm going to just go get blood drawn, then I'll know for sure either way.

Yeah that is what I was going to suggest. A blood test willtell you for sure.
Your OP says 5/17 did you mean 6/17? Because that is way more than 7 days late.

OK, now that makes more sense. I was confused on your original post. I was just following a thread of some ladies who have that problem, so I think going in for that beta would be your answer. Post here when you find out?

Sorry I didn't come back and update - AF finally came... on 6/28! The OB isn't sure what gives, but I'm not really concerned with it right now since it could have been many things, like you guys said - work, stress, etc. We're just TTC again this month!
