It's great that this is happening but I wish male circ be denounced worldwide

As great as this news is, it also is bad news for male rights, and makes ending male circumcision in those countries harder.

In many of those places male and female circumcision is looked at as the same. In these cultures, the two practices are linked, if one is good, in their culture it logically makes sense that the other is too. On the flip side, if one is bad, the other is seen as bad too.

Whats happened here is American human rights groups have convinced these people that female circ is wrong, by seperating it from male circumcision, and by saying that male circumcision is ok.
