I had an emergency hysterectomy recently after a 2nd trimester pregnancy loss. They left both ovaries and cervix so that I would not go into early menopause (although I have had some menopausal symptoms). I believe Sunday and yesterday were the start of what would have been my cycle as I was completely out of control, emotionally. I am hoping this won't happen every month, but if so are there herbal remedies, etc, that I can use to regulate my hormones a bit more? Before the hysterectomy, I usually had one intense day a month, and I learned how to handle that, but nothing even close to this. On and off sobbing for over 24 hours interchanged with times where I seriously wanted to injure someone/anyone is NOT okay. I want to stay away from medication if possible......but I'm not completely opposed to it. Any thoughts?
