well, we just moved from California to Seattle, and have settled in with my father for a few months, as a transition. Wouldn't you know it, my sweet adorable 13 month old has suddenly turned into a screaming, annoying, tantrumy 14 month old. She's been screaming SO much, and making this horribly annoying roaring sound. She's very clear about what she wants, and if it's not what we want, the screaming begins. I'm giving her lots of attention, lots of milky, telling her it hurts my ears to hear the screaming, giving her other ways to communicate what she's trying to say.
My father is a little worried about having us here for three months, I think, with all this screaming!
Do you think it's just her reaction to the move? Is it a phase(hopefully a short one!!)? What should I do? help!

It's quite normal to have an escalation with such a transition.

But if she cannot talk yet and the screaming is her way of getting your attention, then it's working! Things aren't stable in her life and she may want to know that you are, and that you will give her extra attention despite the transition.

I would suggest that responding so much to it is reinforcing it.
