AHHH! Six more weeks!

Six more weeks until I can know what this kiddo is. It's making me crazy. I made the sweetest little girl outfit for a friend's daughter today...brown and red corduroy and with a coordinating paisley corduroy. So sweet. I want to make one for MY baby--but only if it's a girl!

I'm have an OB apt next week and I'm hoping that we can go ahead and schedule my big u/s and I can start a countdown.

Very cool! I don't know when I'm going to schedule my u/s. I'm still waiting on medicaid to go through and I don't know how many they cover. I've had one so far, but that was under my old insurance. I'm due 2 days before you and I'm thinking of doing it at 18 weeks
By then my morning sickness should be totally gone, too

I dont know if its the same state to state, but here Medicaid covers however many the doctor/midwife orders. I've had 2 so far-one to rule out ectopic and one because we couldnt get the heartbeat-and to prove the stupid OB wrong!

With my first, I had at least 10, my OB had gotten a new machine and since I was well known there (he was my moms OB and delivered my sister when I was 10, so the office staff and the OB all knew me rather well), he decided to use me to help the 2 nurses learn how to ultrasounds. They had a tech but only part time, lol. Anyway, I thought it was fun and didnt think about any risks of having soooo many. I dont think he charged Medicaid for most of them though, haha.

And I cant wait for my US! I want to know if I'm right again! My fiance has his heart set on a girl and I feel like its a girl (and havent been wrong yet) so its definately nerve wracking having to wait.

We booked this appointment today: October 8 at 9:30. YAY!

Doc also said that in two weeks I can call on Friday afternoon and see if things are slow and if they are, she'll take me back herself for a quick gender peek. Decisions, decisions...
I got a U/S done for free by a tech It was a womens clinic that was mostly church funded but I got to see my baby at 12 weeks and the heart beat and everything is ok!. lol even tho they could not tell the sex at 12 weeks I have strong boy vibes coming from it lol idk i think it looked pretty boyish lol

How exciting!!! Can you believe we are already this far??? It is crazy!! When I go to my appointment on Sept 16th, I get to set up my u/s date too!! I am so excited. I can't wait to find out what I am having!! Then I can start buying stuff. I have nothing b/c my last baby was 10 years ago!! I also did an intelligender. I think the result was boy. I sent pics to the manufacturer and they said it looked a little light so they are sending me a new test. I don't really hold a lot of stock in it but, it is fun! So....let the countdown begin!! Good luck!

We go in on October 16. This the first time we'll be finding out the gender (kid #3) and I'm excited.
I'll find out Oct 12th. I had an appointment yesterday (13 weeks) but no ultrasound just doppler.
