We're expecting #2 in January, and I'm already thinking about my newborn diaper stash!

I am going to need some AIOs for my mom to use (and DH prefers them but will use anything). Anyone have any recommendations?? I know AIOs for a newborn aren't very economical, but I need to have some. Do Fuzzi Bunz work well on newborns? What about Bumkins? Those are SO easy to use but not very absorbent, and I'm wondering how they would handle all the newborn bf poop?

My daughter is 2 months. I can give you my take on 3 different ones. I have one FMBG AIO, it is wonderful. We use Fuzzi Bunz at night, they are awesome. She goes for 4-5 hours at a time at night and we've never had a leak. I want to get more but she is in xsmalls and the pretty colored ones are hard to find. We tried a Happy Heiny but she leaked through every time pretty quick, too.

I used Kushies, Fuzzi Bunz, and Bumkins when my ds was 7 weeks. They worked pretty good with bf poop. I think I had more blowouts with Kushies, but sometimes nothing will hold those surprise blowouts, up the back and in the hair! :LOL

I liked Kushies on my newborn, but I was just beginning to CD, and I used sposises too, we had blow outs with them also.
I think you're likely to have blowouts occassionally not matter what.
