I am so emotional! My first DS Alden James, was born Monday 12/20, 9lbs even, 21.5 in, and despite the challenging birth and the challenges following the transferred c-section, recovery, jaundice and serious trouble latching on, we are all so happy. Tomorrow is DH's birthday so we are snuggling in at home for the holidays and taking care of each other.

Congratulations, mama! I love his name, too- unique and beautiful. I'm sorry you had some difficulties during birth and immediately after, but glad you are doing well now. We are looking forward to lots of family time over the holidays as well!

Congrats on your sweet boy! And I totally love his name, too! I am so sorry to hear about the C section and BFing troubles. Glad you are all home now and enjoying each other. And 9 pounds...you go, girl!

Oh wow! My heart jumped a bit because DS1 name is Aiden James :) He was also a c-section with trouble latching on, but he eventually got it and things worked out. Funny, he was right at 9 pounds too!

Congratulations! I love his name. My Johannes had jaundice too, and is still having trouble latching on. We'll get there, mama.
