I'm looking into eating more alkalline foods over acid ones. The lists I see contradict each other.

For example: Tomato: some say acid, others alkaline...

What is the most accurate list?
I don't know which way to go at this point.

Thanks so much,
From what I understand, tomato is alkaline when eaten raw, acidic when cooked. We're reading (and mostly following) The Body Ecology Diet and reading (and learning from) The pH Miracle.

I found this list:
http://www.snyderhealth.com/alkalinity.htm
