all mamas with haier machines

i just tried out the laundry alternative wonderwash and i don't think its for me.... but now i'm at a loss. we are on day 2 of CD'ing and its too expensive for me to go to the laundromat so now i'm thinking abt just getting the haier.

BUT the clothes i did wash last nite in the wonderwash are drying by my patio door but are as damp as ever. my apt complex doesn't allow for line drying on our patios so i have to do it inside by the door (where we get a lot of sunlight). i'm starting to get scared abt how i'm going to do all this w/o a dryer.

any mamas in my shoes? any good suggestions? how is the haier working out for u? do u wash at home and dry at the laundromat?

nak-

I used the Haier and loved it!
It did a good job of spinning out the water when it rinsed. I lined dried all of the time. In the Winter dh strung up a clothes line across our bedroom and we hung the diapers to dry inside. Good luck!

I didn't know haier had a spin dry -- what model did u have?

What kind of diapers did you have? I have PF's AIOs and fitteds but I've onlly washed and used the PF's so far... are all these diapers capable of being line dried?

I had this one. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...tchen&n=507846

When the cycle was done it played Jingle Bells! My kids loved it!

All of your diapers can be lined dryed. I had much better luck with the prefolds though. My fitteds took a lot longer to dry on the line.
My Haier played Jingle Bells :LOL

Twas a wonderful machine when you can have a full sized washer.

Never did diapers in it.

I lined dried or hauled the clothes over to my moms dryer.

Not much help for you, but my washer did a good job spinning the water out and the washer did a wonderful job of cleaning clothes.

I still have the washer, its in storage and i really need to get it out and sell it as I dont need it anymore.
OK well I bought the Haier
. I know w/ normal machines your supposed to put a 1/4 cup of detergent - but a Haier is smaller right? So how much detergent would I use?

Hey Mahira--Jennie from the CC
Glad you got the washer you were looking for and not a dishwasher :LOL

I would say you probably only need like a tbs of detergent but since I've never use done I'm not sure. I know thats about all I use in my front loader when I use detergent.

HAHA, nice to see you here
I wonder if you could wash diapers in a dishwasher...technically its the same concept right? I don't really have the guts to use the same appliance for my dishes and poopy dipes though
.

My Haier should be here tomorrow so I guess it's experimenting time!!

Oh and btw, in RE to my original problem, I did go to the laundromat and line dried and I guess the spin dry really does make a difference, cuz overnight my dipes are dry!
