My washing machine was delivered this morning, and is currently undergoing a test run on a bunch of dish towels.

We live in an apartments and "smuggled" in a compact Whirlpool washing machine - it just hooks up to our kitchen sink (yes, I'll be bleaching the sink our after doing laundry !).

This is what we've got

My only complaint ? No extra spin cycle. Guess I'll live

You'll love it! I have the Haier. Just one thought--Can it fit in your bathroom? DH swore to me ours would not fit, but it does, its in front of the back half of our shower curtain and even blocks the door a few inches but WAY preferable to having it in the kitchen.

Nope - no way for it to work in the bathroom. For one - won't fit. For two - no way to attach it to the faucets in there.
