DS will be 2 next week. He has his first allergist appt on Monday. We've always known he's allergic to dairy, but never seen an allergist.

When we gave him some milk a few months ago to see if he had outgrown the allergy, he reacted pretty severly. Well, not bad enough to go to the doctor, but broke out in a rash from head to toe, stuffy nose and diarrhea.

We decided at that point that any future challenges would be best done by a doctor and that we need to test him for other allergens and track the dairy one.

I'm soooooo nervous for him. He is very very apprehensive about starngers. Doesn't like to be touched by people he doesn't know very well.

I don't think he'll handle this appointment well at all......

Good luck! My dd and I still vividly remember her first and only oral trial. Scary stuff, but it's good to be armed with the knowledge.
