I am not normally one to take ANY sort of pill but I am really needing to start shedding some of this weight. I am not really able to loose much weight when I am breastfeeding, I still generally have to healthy of an apetite but I am needing to get the process started. I am wondering if Alli will be of any help and if it will effect breastfeeding in any way.

TIA

I wouldn't take anything while breastfeeding just my opinion though too scary.
I recently bought the Slim in 6 series great at home 35 min workouts that are not too intense I can't do a bunch of jumping bc my breasts are so big and heavy so these are perfect. you can go to beachbody.com or google the slim in 6. Also cut out processed foods and you'll drop tons of lbs. I eat chicken, turkey, etc salads and no pasta potatoes chips cookies cakes etc and am dropping weight. I gained almost 50lbs from eating way too much crap while pg and 4mos pp only 10lbs to go and really not working that hard at it. I'm 5ft tall so i really have to watch things or I can look heavy. i'd try changing your food intake before a pill.

I would not take Alli because it blocks your body from absorbing oils and fats. Your baby needs those things and so does your body to make BM. I'm doing weight watchers right now and it is working great for me! I've dropped 15# in about 3 mo.! WW gives nursing Moms extra calories, so you won't have to worry about compromising your milk supply. You can even do the whole program on-line. Plus, WW focusing on healthy eating that is sustainable for a lifetime. It has helped me develop better eating habits, so I not only lose weight, but I am also more healthy overall.
