Thankfully I work for a City gov't and our upstairs neighbors are the Fire Dept., which meant that Mitch-the-paramedic was walking in the front door with me as I frantically looked for a spot to sit down.

I'm 19 weeks, and this is the first time I've felt as if I were going to faint. I had been walking outside, I could feel my abdomen tightening, my heart was beating too fast, and I was out of breath and overheated. My BP tends to run on the low side.

Soo... is there any way to prevent fainting during pregnancy? Mitch already requested that one of the babies be named after him, and I don't want 2 babies named after paramedics

I deal with this too. This time not so much.. but I'm not trying to work and be pregnant at the same time.

I was also told that if I eat more salt with ds that it wold help keep my BP up. Try drinking Gatorade. If you start to feel faint just sit down. I've been known to sit down in the middle of the aisle at a store when I start to go. Try to stay cool too. Heat will make it worse.

Ive been feeling very faint lately. Im guessing its the anemia. I get really dizzy and my heart beats and I have to sit down for ungodly amounts of time (at work). It sucks.

Are you drinking enough water? If it is something that continues I would definitely get it checked out as it can also be caused by something off with your electrolytes (potassium and sodium being two of the main culprits). Sorry the nurse in me coming out :

Poor thing, I have notoriously low blood pressure so I know where you're coming from. If you feel it coming on, don't be proud. Plop down where you are, pull over if you're in the car, etc. I blacked out a few times when preggers with Bear. Take care of your poor body, its working 24/7 these days.
