My son is 14 months, corrected age nine months. He has just started self-feeding and really likes the Heinz cookies-easy to hold and tasty. I would really like to make my own version, preferably a veggie version (savory), or fruit based. The 'melt-ability' factor is tres important, as he has some muscle issues w/ his mouth. Any ideas? Help a mama out...

P.S. Rice as an ingredient is a no-no, as it backs the poor thing up terribly, but alternative flours are .

TIA!
