She has been showing signs of...shhh... potty learning.... She even POOPED on the potty the other day, and while I was extremely happy for her I was sad for me. I am not encouraging her to do this she is doing it all on her own. WHY WHY WHY? I love putting beautiful cloth diapers on her, what do I have to look forward to? Does anyone make pretty little panties for girls? Maybe I will have that to look forward to.<br><br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/bawling.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="bawl">

You're welcome to come diaper Ellie for us. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1"> Acutally, I know a lot of mamas feel the same way. Shoot I may even be one of them someday. I was already working on a newborn stash for my second baby when my first potty learned so I was nothing but happy to get a break from the laundry and toddler poopy diapers. This time, who knows.<br><br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/grouphug.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="grouphug"> for you and <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/partytime.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="partytime"> for DD.

I don't think so! It's not just the diaper addiction withdrawal making you sad, it's your baby growing up too! My DS is starting to walk on his own and I kind of hate it...[except otherwise I'd be carrying two babies in the fall]...because it means he's a toddler now and not a baby. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/bawling.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="bawl"><br><br>
There's lots of cute panties for little girls, anyway, so that might help. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/rolleyes.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="rolleyes"> You're funny.

No you are not crazy to be sad. I agree with the OP that not only are you sad that you diaper days may be ending but also a sign of your baby growing up. We are going through the same thing as my dd is also learning to use the potty. She has not worn a diaper in almost two months. She refuses to. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad">
