Am I going nuts or what?

Okay, woke up this morning doing laundry, sweeping, moping, cooked 4 meals to go into the freezer and now I am seriously going through the storage shed looking for a better suit case to carry my stuff in the hospital to. Lol....I even tried on several outfits to add to my bag as going home outfits and placed a rush order of belly bandits.

I think the fact that we have started having our OCT babies already has kicked me into high gear. I am trying to get everything done as though my baby is coming out tomorrow. And the fact that I realized that if this baby follows the pattern of other pregnancies my little one will be here late this week. (Of course that is only wishful thinking, I do not really plan on having her this week.)

I better slow down before I have nothing to do in the next 3 weeks and then I really go crazy!

I think that's awesome.
You're not crazy. Yesterday I tore apart all my bathroom cabinets and purged everything that wasn't needed, and re-organized everything in neat little rows on the cabinet shelves and stacked neatly in baskets in the cabinet.

I've also spent this past week stocking up on provisions, and my pantry looks like a bomb shelter. And I have plans for laundry and ironing today, woo hoo! Happy nesting!

I wish I would have slowed down when I started to nest! I have cleaned every inch of my house, and now I have started cleaning my mother's house, that is how desperate I am to do something. I spent all day Sunday organizing her first floor

We put new floor tile down this weekend in my kitchen so Im still trying to get my house back in order yet. I am so anxious to finish my freezer meals. Gotta get my kitchen back in order first!
Nesting anyone?

Uh... not me!! I have two weeks to term and a whole lotta stuff to get done still. I just don't know if I will find it in me to get everything ready. I have bare necessities, that is all.
That's my every day! I probably have weeks to go.
I've got the motivation to nest but not the ENERGY!

This is me, exactly! I lie awake half the night planning all my nesting adventures, but by the time I wake up I can barely move.

LOL--I'm a major nester too!!!! Good luck getting everything done, and I hope to hear about your birth soon! LOL
If you're crazy then I'm crazy...I just blew my whole lunch hour at Target getting everything dialed down for JUST what I wanted in my suitcase at the hospital. I went over every travel-sized shampoo....everything to the last detail...standing there with my list.

On the plus side, I decided I wanted a robe, new socks, and a nursing bra. I got soft black cotton for all. For one, it's still hot here, and two...black doesn't show stains. I, of course, will immediately go home, wash them, and then pack, and probably repack them.

OMG this is me exactly! I get all excited in my head over how productive I'm going to be the next day. And then I move slower than a dead slug all day & get maybe one thing done before I realize it's dark out.
I really need to get some things done! And yeah, having our Oct. babies starting to come has freaked me out & reminded me how I need to move FASTER than a decomposing slug.

Ok, so who's going to come over to my house and do my nesting for me?!
Hardly anything is getting done in my house. Maybe one day soon.... hopefully before baby gets here!

I'm right there with you. I have a list of stuff I want to get done, and I know only *maybe* half of it will get accomplished.

I have already started my list for my suitcase for the hospital
and started pulling some stuff together..umm..I'm only 34 weeks. I cant help it!

You ladies amaze me with your freezer meals. I wont cook a single one, I'm just not domestic like that. But I'll make sure we have enough bread, snacks, soups, ect.

Anyone else having a hard time organizing things/getting things cleaned up with a little one or DH coming in behind you and messing it up? *sigh*

Another one who has the urge but not the energy! I was thinking earlier how nice it'd be to just be in my pj's all day and lay around. My 2-yr-old wouldn't stand for it, but it's a nice thought!

I am really sad that I'm not nested in at all...
I closed on the house on August 13th, and moved all my stuff in that weekend, and I'm still unpacking bit by bit. This weekend I got the clothes unpacked and into the closet. But I was so exhausted and hurting at the end of it that I curled up on the couch and cried. Ugh!
I really really wanted to get some of the rooms painted, carpet ripped up and replaced, etc. etc. before the baby comes, but I'm discovering that it's not possible. So I'm making some (for me) hard choices: if it is not absolutely necessary to do before the baby comes, I'm not doing it. Anything that does get done is bonus, but I'm going to let myself rest and not freak out, because I'm sure it does me and the babe no good to be in pain and stressed out.
My last day of work is Sept 30th, and I'm not due until Oct 29th, so I'm hoping that with lots of rest in the last few weeks I'll get a burst of energy and maybe use that to get some meals in the freezer. But if I don't, I'll hit the BJs club and just buy a bunch of frozen meals and that will be OK too.
I'm all for the path of least resistance right now!

Lol, that is so funny because that was me on monday. I think everyone thought I was crazy for stairing down the travel size hygeine for so long. I was litteraly there for about 20 minutes until I decided the selection was so small I needed to go to another store. Then I spent another 30 minutes in that store. And I have had so much fun packing and repacking my bag. I also bought a new robe, and some pajama pants. I have tons at home but for some odd reason it is very important to me while in the hospital to have pants that don't show the world my cellulite. So I had to get some that were going to be baggy on me. Thank goodness I am still finding things to keep me preoccupied. I feel so sorry for my husband when I do run out of things to do. I will probably turn back into the attention seeking blubbering mess I was last week when I couldn't find stuff to do. Sheesh I hope this baby comes out soon lol.
