Ok, since we've started monitoring ds' dairy intake (he only gets it at one meal per day and then not too much), his pooping has been regular - once a day. In fact, I know when he's going to poop, because it's usually right before or after I do.

Anyone else ever have a poo-connection with their EC-ling? It's kinda neat (reminds of how in college when my roomies and I all used to get AF at the same time).

Never thought about it, but we're generally morning poopers over here. And both of us don't like to go aside from at home... which is problematic when we're away for the weekend

Definitely! EC is how I figured out dd has a dairy sensitivity. She was pooping 4 times a day and it was green. The ped. said it was normal, but this is my third baby and I didn't think it was. So after I eliminated all dairy from everything she started pooping twice a day and it was normal bf poop. Now that it has been a few months she is only pooping once a day. Trust your instincts if you think something is affecting your child.

when i am pooping is the only time i don't catch his poops!

i offer it to him before i go even though he shows no sign of wanting to poop,
but as soon as he sees me doing it, he's got some to squeeze out after all!

i guess its a cue he can't resist!

Oh, that kind of connection. I need to slow down when I'm reading.

Well, usually dd goes first thing in the morning, but I'm not long after her.

Yay! So glad to know we're not alone (though it figures that once I mentioned it here, we haven't had a tandem-poo for two days now.
