I hate seeing Halloween decorations in August, and Christmas in September so my plan was Halloween in October, Fall/Thanksgiving in November, Dec holidays in December. But I've noticed Thanksgiving already hit K & F, and there's Christmas fluff around already too. Am I just late? When do YOU start buying for the next holiday?

Cute thread. Dh has already been playing Christmas CD's. He plans on starting the Christmas decorations right after Halloween. I told him outside lights ONLY. His excuse is that he wants to get the lights up before it gets really cold out. But I know him, he'll get carried away and want to put up ALL the decorations and the tree........but there is NO way I'm letting him. :LOL I swear he was one of Santa's elves in a past life.

On the other hand I do love buying holiday "stuff" early, before the crazy shopping days after Thanksgiving.

NORMALLY, I'm pretty much a "holiday belongs within a month of it's actual date" person. Except for the fact that I'll have a newborn at Christmas this year!!! So, my Christmas shopping is going to be pretty much done by Hallowe'en this year. . .
