5 months PP here and I am SO wanting another one! I have been asking DH for another baby since I had DS. I LOVE Mommyhood and want more!

That said, I KNOW it is be totally different. I had people telling me to enjoy being pg with DS, cause it is the last time you ever get to focus totally on yourself.

BUT I WANT MORE

I love my children but now with 3 of them, sometimes I wish I could turn down the volume

Something happens after the 3rd child... mine are 6years, 3years, and 5 months.

I am very happy to not be pregnant, just the though of being pregnant now is kind of scary. So, yes, you are totally nuts.

Wanting and doing are two different things. You're not nuts to have the desire; it probably means your hormones are shifting. But I think you'd be nuts if you actually tried. I wouldn't want to take the chance of drying up with such a young babe, for one thing. And the practical aspects, well I guess it depends on how much help you get and how needy your first is. I think that in most circumstances it's really hard to balance yourself between 2 very young children so that they're both able to get enough of your time and attention. How would you feel if one had to CIO because you were caring for the other, for example?

Ha ha, DD is just about 5 months, and I want more, so no you're not nuts! I guess I'm a bit insane, but I hear that a lot anyway . If I could be pregnant now, I would be, but no AF yet, and it will be awhile before it gets her too.
