Anyone hear about that? So does that mean the Ameda Purely Yours pump is no longer with Hollister, therefore free of the plastibell ties?

I NEVER mention the Ameda PY to women, only the Medela PIS, : because the makers (Hollister) also make the plastibell. Does this mean I can start letting women know it exists?

Yep, this is great news all around -- Hollister is selling Ameda to Evenflo, so Ameda will now be free of the Plastibell taint, AND Evenflo is going to comply with the WHO Breastfeeding Marketing Code! I have to say, for a company that makes bottles/nipples, that is an awesome thing to do.

This is great!

I bought the APS before my son was born (and before I knew about the Plastibell connection) and I loved the pump (and the price) bit would never reccommend it.
Yay for evenflo!

(hopefully the replacement parts will be eaisier to get now too!)
