Anyone hear about that? So does that mean the Ameda Purely Yours pump is no longer with Hollister, therefore free of the plastibell ties?<br><br>
I NEVER mention the Ameda PY to women, only the Medela PIS, <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/duck.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Duck">: because the makers (Hollister) also make the plastibell. Does this mean I can start letting women know it exists? <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol">

Yep, this is great news all around -- Hollister is selling Ameda to Evenflo, so Ameda will now be free of the Plastibell taint, AND Evenflo is going to comply with the WHO Breastfeeding Marketing Code! I have to say, for a company that makes bottles/nipples, that is an awesome thing to do. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/clap.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="clap">

I bought the APS before my son was born (and before I knew about the Plastibell connection) and I loved the pump (and the price) bit would never reccommend it.<br>
Yay for evenflo!<br><br>
(hopefully the replacement parts will be eaisier to get now too!)
