Finally, a terrific story about a large family!

They are raising seven children on an annual income of $35,000 a year, with NO debt. Wow!

Yes, and for the rest of the country!

Its a shame that people who are being wise and responsible are being called names and labeled.

They really are a great team, too.

We're a family of 7 living on between 24k and 35k. I'm not impressed (we do have student loan debt though)

we are a family of 6, going on 7, and we live on about 22K a year. We do have student loan debt though, that we are trying hard to get rid of. But no CCs or other debt, and we rent.

I am going to try and get the book from the library. It sounds like a good read, but I wouldnt pay for it.

Can someone type in the name of the book and the authors? I'd love to check it out, but I'm having some issues with my video on my computer, so I can't go watch that video again!

Thanks!

eh, I got their newsletter about 4 years ago and they didn't really have very many wonderful ideas. The Tightwad Gazette is better.

oh, and they are called the economides, I'm sure if you search that you'll find the title of their book.

We're a family of 4 living on twice that and I feel like every week we're barely making ends meet. We only have 1 car payment (very low) and student loans. We do have cc debt and are paying that off. ok-the food snob in me just can't resist. What are they eating????? a whole lotta processed crapola? It isn't like you can get coupons for fresh fruits and vegetables. Every time I have ever looked at coupons, they are always for stuff i would never ever buy.

A LOT depends on where you live. I don't think anyone could live on $22,000 in Southern California.

I hear you, but usually eating the processed stuff is more expensive than going for natural foods. Today, I bought two pounds of grapes, two giant nectarines, a bunch of bananas, and seven pears for $5 from the fruit guy on the street. I couldn't have even bought two packages of tator tots (for tator tot casserole, natch) for that much.

Yes! And it also depends a lot on how creative you are making your meals. I am not as good as my mom: she can stretch food a loooooong way and it is like magic!

Could somebody give a synopsis, or a text link, for those of us who can't view videos?
