<p>Every now and then when someone recommends the Cosco Scenera someone else will chime in that it seems 'flimsy'.</p>

<p>Well, another word for flimsy is 'flexible' and apparently that's an advantage.</p>

<p>Here is a video of a tech trying to destroy an expired Touriva (the predecessor to the Scenera) with a Jeep.  The carseat wins.</p>

<p>Not to mention that that one  is expired and in heory the plastic would be more brittle than a brand new seat!</p>

<p>I personally thing the "flimsiness" of that shell will help absorb the impact of a crash. </p>

<p>now if only they would have shown the seat after so that you could also use that to prove you cannot look at a seat and tell if it was in an accident.</p>
