An update on our relactating progress *updated again after doc appointment

I just wanted to give you all an update. Things are going really well. DS is getting better at latching and he stays at the breast a little longer each day, I'm assuming it's because I am getting a little more milk each day. I am now able to pump a tsp of milk. Each day I seem to get a little more. I only just started lactating on Wednesday, so it's great to see such progress so soon. I still can't wake up in the middle of the night, so instead I am doing extra pumps as late as I can stay up for (usually about 2 extra sessions). I am pumping after every feeding, about 3 hours. I want to be able to nurse so the only extra pumps I am doing is in the evening. The combination of Domperidone, Fenugreek, Blessed Thistle, Cal/mag and oatmeal seems to be working wonders. I have another appointment with my lactation doctor tomorrow.

I LOVE IT He's so content when nursing (even though it's only for a short time). He even nursed in bed with me this morning. I can't wait until I have a good supply and can nurse until his belly is full.

I just wanted to say that my appointment with the lactation doctor went very well. He nursed longer than ever and when we wieghed him he had nursed 10ml! She put me on a higher dose of Motilium, but other than that we do another wiegh-in next week.
