5cm dilated LOL. Craziness I tell you!!!! Still 90% effaced. Dr. doesn't think it'll be "much longer" but she also said she has seen a woman walk around at 7cm. She feels though that since DD#1 was born right at 36 weeks, that this one will follow suit.
I had asked the OB nurse if OB would strip my membranes possibly

but unfortunately for me (but thankfully for the general pregnant population) they do not feel like this is safe/helpful anymore... which is true.
Her exam was a bit more painful than usual so maybe something was stirred around a little

Here's to hoping this little one comes soon!! I can't wait to hug and kiss her!!!

Seriously! YEAH! Most of the work is done for you already! MY MW didn't do an internal at my appt yesterday but I would be so delighted if they said I was that dilated!

I was dialated to 4 cm w/ ds, before having any clue that I was even lcose to going to go into labor. I wonder where I am right now, now that you bring this up!

Hope you are prepared for a fast birth! You're planning a hospital birth right? I'd make sure you and dh have a few things gathered at home in case you never make it to the hospital which could be very likely. Was your daughter's birth fast?

We have all our bags packed...I packed the darn things when I was 32 weeks because they were so sure I was going to have this baby early...so they're just sittin and waiting lol

With DD I had a PROM at 35 +5. I was 1cm and 80% effaced. I had to have pictocin to get things started but once I got that it was about 6-7 hours.

I simply can't believe I am this far dilated

I was induced with DD due to being 5 centimeters, 80% effaced and GBS positive. I had had NO contractions with her at all. Just some cramping, but I've been having a little of that this time too so it wouldn't surprise me if I'm already a little dialated. My MW doesn't do cervical checks and I don't want to know if I'm not!

ROTFL you're going to have that baby in about five minutes of labor, for sure.

What a trip, that you're still hanging on...

Although, man, how nice that you've actually made it to term, when they were seriously not thinking you would... I know it's been tough for you, but at least your baby will be totally ready to come out healthy.

I'm expecting to see your announcement thread any day now...
