I never had iron issues during my pg with Sam.

I was just looking at my fingernails and I thought they looked a little purplish. I've been really tired, too. I think I will have my mw check my iron at my next visit. Does it sound anemic to anyone?

I have had a lot of pre-pregnancy problems with anemia (vegetarian, probably don't always eat the best). I take Thorne prenatals, but only two of them instead of the three on the dosing instructions. My levels have been fine so far. You could always take a little extra over the next week or eat some extra iron and see if you feel better? When I was anemic, I felt much better within a week of taking extra iron.

HI I just discussed this with my mw yesterday. I had a problem with it in my 1st preg. so I am trying to ba proactive with this one as I don't care to eat meat when preg for some reason ? She suggested trying alfalfa tablets before taking iron. They are ery helpful, and do not cause the constipation that iron can ( as though that doesn't come with being prego as it is! )
Anyway- maybe ask yours what they think of that idea...also last time I took a few table spoons of molasis everyday ( again better then the iron tablet constipation for me.)
