Hi. I am looking for a recipe for angel food cake with a cane sugar substitute. It is my daughter's birthday and she is allergic to sugar from sugar cane but may have honey, maple syrup, agave nectar, brown rice syrup, etc. I cannot find a recipe for angel cake. Anybody have anything? Or any ideas about how to adapt a recipe. When you substitute honey for example, you use 3/4 of the amout called for and also reduce the liquid. However, the liquid in angel food is just the eggwhites and the vanilla. Any ideas or wisdom about this? Thanks a bunch. Dovesong
