announcing Bobbie Humphrey as ICAN of Baltimore co-leader!

I am very happy to announce that doula and ICAN supporter, Bobbie Humphrey is now my ICAN of Baltimore co-leader! Bobbie, who hails from Carroll County, has been taking on various tasks for our ICAN chapter over the past few months often uttering my favorite phrase, "What can I help you with?" I'm so excited to have her onboard! Bobbie has also become a professional level subscriber to our chapter so make sure to check out her listing on the birth professionals page of www.icanofbaltimore.org.

In addition to planning some special meeting topics for us this spring, Bobbie is going to head our "Cesarean Voices" art exhibit project which will take place in April in honor of Cesarean Awareness Month. The project will be the first of its kind in the country and has the potential for drawing national media attention. I promised Bobbie I'd rustle up some volunteers to help her with the project so please do help if you are able. Some of the things she will need help with include posting flyers, purchasing supplies for the opening reception, preparing food, set up and clean up for the reception, helping the curator hang artwork, taking digital photographs of the artwork, mailing VIP invitations, staffing the viewing hours, and much more!
