I've been moved from 12/20 to 12/22. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/irked.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="irked"><br><br>
Technically, not that big a deal, but I've gone 14 days over before. I know how excruciating those last few days can be! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/angry.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="angry"><br><br>
I'm putting money on 12/25 and 1/5!

So frustrating! Mine was changed too; I'm just going to stick with the first one, since *I* know when this baby was made <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink">. I had changed it, but the more I thought about it, the angrier I got, so I'm switching it back.<br><br>
Oh, and I'm guessing this one will be born between 12/17 - 12/20. My last one (that I know the exact conception time of) was born almost exactly 9 months after conception (and almost 2 weeks "overdue" <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/eyesroll.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="roll">).

They are trying to change mine to 12/14 from 12/16, but I know it should be 12/16 because I was charting. Not a huge deal, but I will be a first-timer and may very well go past my due date, and I don't want them to be pushing me for induction two days earlier than they would have normally!

See, now I'm more worried about *my* giving in to induction. My mws are great about keeping me on "my plan", but my family (read: child care options) is completely insensitive to baby cook rates. It seems I "put them out" by expecting them to hang on for an "extra" week or two of on-call service!<br><br>
I'm so self-centered. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink">

Here, they don't change your EDD unless the ultrasound dates the baby at more than a week behind.

A Christmas baby would be lovely!<br><br>
Here, they just keep telling me how they won't "let" me go longer than 37 weeks. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/rolleyes.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="rolleyes"> Obviously, these people have no idea how truly stubborn I can be.

Wow! I know twins have a greater chance of coming early, but why wouldn't they want them to get as much cooking time as they're willing to take????

Exactly - the longer they're in there, the better! You'd think that they'd know this, since they went to medical school & all, right <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/eyesroll.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="roll">?<br><br>
Glad you'll be nice & stubborn, Annette!!

12/25 would be a wonderful day to be born <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br><br>
Mine was moved from 12/6 to 12/14, but I am actually happy about it b/c it is more accurate for the size of my embryo. My RE said that mine is most likely due to taking a full week for implantation.

After my nephew was basically a premie and born at 37 weeks (and then got a fun stay in the NICU for severe dehydration that could have killed him), it still shocks me when people say 37 weeks is full term. Even the NICU nurses told my SIL that the OBs consider 37 ok, but a lot of times, they are too early and could use another week.<br><br>
Argh.
