Another intact infant advantage?

1201 Views 23 Replies 20 Participants Last post by  wendy1221
I noticed on another thread that a mom mentioned her intact son never pees on her. It seems though on so many mainstream boards that their little boys pee on them all the time. I have always wondered if it had something to do with circ...seriously, I haven't been sprayed with urine yet
. According to some other people I know their kids spray them ALL the time. One time when I changed him he did go, but it went down, not up at me. I have to think having a foreskin keeps his penis down away from me (hey, my son here also has a long overhang which probably helps keep it down). I have always wondered if having an exposed glans on the other babies also made them go at changes...what do you think?

Well, in the previous discussions here that I've seen about it, it seems that there isn't a connection (for everyone) between circ status and peeing status!

My intact nephew pees on my sister sometimes. My own intact boy has never peed on me.
I could clearly see someonme saying that having their sons urinating on them would be better than having the urine trapped inside the foreskin and using thata against us.

HUH? I don't see how it would get trapped inside the foreskin as the foreskin/glans are fused as an infant. And, secondly urine is sterile until exposed to air...

I don't see that sort of argument standing up to a girl's anatomy either. After all, EVERYTHING is internal there and we have lots of folds/crevices for smegma/urine to get into.

Maybe it has to do with overhang. DS here has a long foreskin and that seems to hold his penis down, so if he does pee it goes down. I am mentioning this because the women I know with circ'd sons seem to tell me stories that they get it in the face, chest, etc. In fact, I remember reading in a childcare book that suggested that all parents cover their son's penis with a cloth diaper during changes to prevent from getting sprayed. My friends with intact sons don't seem to have those extreme pee stories. I would think the extra weight of the foreskin would keep it more pointed downward. So, it's not so much if they pee or not, but where they pee.

Of course, my son isn't quite 6 months and he hasn't discovered his best friend down there yet
, and I just keep it pointed downward. Maybe that is why I haven't gotten sprayed?

Eh... My son is intact and has peed on me at least once a day since he was born. If he didn't pee on me, he peed on himself, and that's just as bad, and just as much cleanup

I am not aruging the OP, i am just saying that from a lot of information i have been told and read that urine 'in' the foreskin is a bad thing for babies :p

Regardless if its true or not, im just saying i could see it being used as an argument against.

And yes.. Alex used to pee all over me

Urine can't be "in" a fused foreskin any more than dirt could be "in" a fused fingernail.
i get peed on ALL the time!

When I was a daycare teacher, I once watched a little circumcised infant pee a perfect arch directly into his mouth. All I could do was laugh since I was all the way across the room. He didn't seem to mind.

Yep, my ds (intact) can hit himself in the forehead...or me, for that matter.

My ds peed on me as soon as I pushed him out ... no kidding

He continued to pee on my in the first months but not anymore.

When DS was little, he would always wait till we lifted his butt up to wipe underneath it before peeing. He was constantly peeing on his own face! Then of course, he'd cry and we'd have to laugh!
I get peed on at least once a day. Today it's actually been twice and he got the bed once too.

Do they pee as soon as you open the diaper? Or is it at one point during the change? The thing I've noticed about the little boys in my family (all but 1 are circ'd), is that they spray you the moment the air hits their bits. It's as though the feeling of the cold air kind of shocks them into urinating. I don't know...that's my theory.

DS has never pee'd on me during a diaper change. I got pee'd on once, after a bath (I had him sitting in my lap while I waited for DD to finish her bath...he had been diaperless for half an hour at that point, heh). But I've never been sprayed during a diaper change. Actually, when he was about 4 or 5 months old, I witnessed him urinating for the very first time, while he was in the tub. It wasn't until that moment that I realized I had never been pee'd on.

My 18 month old is my first guy to be intact !!!

What I have noticed with him is alot less baby "erections" then in my older boys who were circ'd. Maybe its because the circ'd boys are gradually losing sensitivity in the area that is supposed to be covered?
(and less baby boners means less pee in my general direction)
Is this just my kids or has anyone else seen this?

Neither my circ.ed or intact sons have peed on me, and they both get "happy" often :LOL. I am happy just with the fact that I left #2 as God made him, no need for more benefits

My oldest ds peed on me dh or himself numerous times. My youngest ds has never once peed on me. Both are intact.
Logan pees on everything and everyone he can. Yup, he's intact. he likes peeing on Daddy more than me though, don't pee on the boob that feeds you?
My boys didn't pee on me often, but the nice thing about having a foreskin is that you can tell when they are about to pee b/c the peehole opens up and you can see the red inside just a second before the pee comes out so you can hopefully put a towel over them!
