I have been using FB stuffed with a micro Thirsties insert and a Hemp Thirsties insert. However I have to change them 1-2x a night. What do you recommend for a 9 month old? She is also very long and skinny and barely can wear the petites now(they are too wode). i have otten rec'd for Swaddlebees but I have read that they aren't that absorbant, and night is our biggest issue. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Well, if you have good luck with Fuzzi Bunz and like that style of diaper, maybe you'd like Happy Heiny's.

They have more room in the pocket for stufing, so you can really get a lot of absorbancy in there. They do run a bit large, though, so you'd want to take that into consideration. Also, the prints seem to wick more than the solids.

Happy Heiny's

You might want to try a medium Fuzzi Bunz if the petite is too big. I lvoe happy heiny's too, but my skinny guy fits FB better. My advice is to try a baby kicks hemp prefold as a soaker. These are super absorbant. Once you get the fit right and the soaker right, you should be good to go!

We like BG 2.0 at night or HH.
You can also check out snap-ez, they have a fleece pocket and have outlined details for sizing at http://www.snap-ez.com/Sizes.html

Actually we have the mediums but they are too small(rise) with the inserts for night time. The petites work somewhat ut have gaps around her legs. I will look into the snapez and bumgenius. Thanks for the help.

I've had success with FB and Snap EZ but I hear a lot of raves for Montana Diaper Stores Pocket Change diaper. It comes with a microfibre and hemp insert.

I have one of these and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! It's awesome for nighttime with both inserts, and you don't have to remove the inserts -- they agitate out in the wash!! I'm going to order more!!!
