I love my snap press for making diapers, I've also used it on a sundress for a trade and it worked great. Today I used it to fix Z's hat: it has a strap with velcro that's supposed to keep it on, but he figured out how hard to pull to get it off in 2 min flat.

So today I ripped the velcro off, whipstitched the raw ends, and put snaps on instead. Now he can't get it off!
I was debating how to fix it because I was worried about him strangling if it gets stuck yet I wanted something he couldn't get off. I figure that right now it's more important to keep it on, at 10.5 mos he's not going to be outside alone to get into any scary strangle-possible situations.

Snap presses rock! I'm using mine to make my own diaper bag (zippers take too long to undo); to make a sundress for the daughter of a friend; to make shirts for my ds; and I'm going to use it to make a fleece jacket for my ds for this coming fall. There are just so many cool applications!
