Just heard from a friend that a dear friend of ours had her baby on Wednesday, VBAC in a hospital. Doesn't sound like a "perfect" birth (from what we know there was malposition, vacuum, 3rd degree tear, and meconium), but I'm so happy that the baby is HERE and she got her VBAC! A tiny little thing (6.5lbs or so and 18"!) but that's no surprise given her parents! Baby is in NICU but hopefully will be home tomorrow.

I've worried and prayed long and hard about this birth because of the unlikely circumstances of the hospital, but I'm very happy that she was able to do it! So perhaps a bit of inspiration for those who are also planning a VBAC in hospital.

Now I'm just waiting for mama to get some rest so I can hear the full story!
