Stole this link from another board I'm on. Basically the author of this article says that it's "rude" to bfip! And that there is always the restroom or the car! Ugh!
I started to read it, but couldn't get very far. I'm eating dinner right now and don't feel like getting sick b/c I read a bunch of ignorant nonsense.

It isn't the worst article I've read...just really silly that people now specialize in parenting etiquette...what ever happened to common sense? At least the author did ask why people would care about nursing in public when we are bombarded by media images of nearly naked, sexually objectified breasts on a daily basis...so rarely is that acknowledge by anti-NIPers.

:LOL Thats a good one! I was thinking next time someone gave me a weird look for NIP, I'd say "Oh, I'm sorry am I bothering you? Do you know where the nearest restroom is? Why don't you go sit there until I'm done feeding her". I probably wouldn't actually say that, because I always seem to get forget all the good comebacks when stuff actually happens!
I started to read the article but decided it was a good idea to stop before I got pissed off.
I'm already up past my bedtime so I don't need to get all riled up
She lost me at the second sentence. The episiotomy has healed, the baby's colic has subsided, and you're finally ready to show off that gorgeous three-month-old Wow, routine episiotomies, all babies are colicky, and you should stay holed up in your house for the first three months.
