I really feel like this baby is ready to come out. I am SO uncomfortable (like the same way I felt with first 2 pregnancies but closer to the end). This baby feels so big, when it kickes or tumbles around it knocks the wind out of me. I can barely walk, and when I do it is quite a sight. I've been having tons of pressure way down low and LOTS of ctx, some BH and some more like menstrual cramps. I also get shooting pains in my vagina that stop me dead in my tracks a lot recently. And I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tired lately. I feel like there is no way the baby will be staying in for another 6-7 weeks. Can anyone relate or am I the only 33 weeker (as of tomorrow) who feels more like 38-40 weeks?

Everyone is shocked that I still have 6.5 weeks to go. They think I am ready to go. This is my first so I have nothing to compare it to but I have alot of BH contr. What is the normal amount for 33.5 weeks? I have them all day long. Very tight, cramping, baby gets really still. Then everything loosens a little and she scoots around. Her head is down (she hiccups in my crotch!sorry, don't mean to be lewd but it's true!). I waddle and everyone thinks it's so funny. Ha ha I'm not laughing . see the pics in my siggy and tell me what you think. They are from Oct 8th. I swear I am even bigger now. I have gained 30 lbs.

I feel very "full" of baby, very awkward, short of breath, and much more 'pregnant' then I did around this time with my daughter - but in no way am I ready for my baby to leave me! I want a big chubster of a newborn.

I am only 31 weeks, 32 on Saturday, and feel like this already. Huge, uncomfortable, nausous & heartburn, much more like I felt at the end of my other pregnancies. It makes wonder if my original due date of Nov 21 is more on target. My cycles were wacky and the negative and positive hpts match the Dec 17 date. Babies come when they are ready, no matter what we feel like though.

I'm just over 33 wks and although I don't feel as big as I did with dd at the end, I am having TONS of bh- which I never had with #1, I am getting the sharp pains in the vagina and huge movements that are like...whoa baby! I haven't had a ton of pressure yet but it kind of feels like she is settling in so I expect it to come soon. I will be SOOO surprised if she stays in til the due date- but I am sure she will stay and cook for a few weeks longer.

I can relate!! I am only 30 weeks but measuring 36 weeks. I get BH contractions all day long everytime I change positions. It drives me crazy at night because I have to switch from left to right and everytime I do my whole belly tightens up. Plus one of the babies is breech so whenever I sit down his/her head feels like a board in my ribs. I am DEFENITELY not ready for them to come, though, I really want to make it to 40 weeks. I keep telling myself "only" 10 weeks to go. :LOL I do remember though around 33 weeks with my son I had a breakdown and told dh I just couldn't take it anymore and I couldn't go on any longer. He ended up coming at 41 weeks, so I had a long ways to go still. But it got better towards the end, so I am hoping it will be the same this time.

I'm 32 weeks and definitely feel done! I'm measuring 2-3 weeks ahead though. I feel huge, can't move, can't walk, have considered telling DH that the mws put me on light bed rest so that i don't have to do dishes and laundry and clean anymore . I feel tired, tired, tired. Turning over in bed and getting out of bed is a major accomplishment. I can't sleep at all from being so uncomfortable and hot. I've even dropped the A/C another 2 degrees at night (I'm in S. Florida). I'm sure our bill will be scary! And the baby's head is right down low. Whenever I do pelvic rocks and circles, I feel it grinding away! No BH yet, but I aboslutely feel like there is no way i can go another 8 weeks. NO WAY! I'm really, really hoping for a Thanksgiving baby!

Not quite 31 weeks and I can empathize. I didn't feel like this for another 4-6 weeks before and now I'm wondering how I'll make it to November!

So glad I'm not alone here. We're planning another homebirth for this baby, but honestly I don't know if we'll make it that long (have to be 37 wks). I made a "Take to the hospital" list today just in case...and I think I'll start packing tomorrow. I know I may be jumping the gun, but figure I might as well be ready just in case. As soon as that 37 week mark passes (if it does) I will unpack the suitcase and get the house ready for the homebirth.

ME TOO! Sounds like me exactly. I left a store the other day cause I swore I was going into labor. LOL I wasnt. LOL But it seems sooo much earlier that this is happening compared to my last pregnancy. I didnt have a period for 3 months so my due date could be off a bit so I always wonder. Watch, this baby will be two weeks PAST the latest possible due date we thought! AHAHAHAHA

I also started getting morning sickness again for some reason. And I puked up dinner tonight. Ugh!

I have good days and bad days. DH says sometimes the babies invite a friend over; that's how much heavier my belly feels on the heavy days. But, I feel like I can last a while longer.

My doctor was telling me today, though, about a patient of hers (apparently there's no patient confidentiality here...) with twins who by 32 weeks was "totally psycho" (doctor's words) and refused to grow the babies any more....Apparently the mom was so fed up and burdened that a psychiatrist had to be called in an the resolution was to deliver the babies. It was like a psychiatric emergency. Weird, right? So I feel better about my mild intolerance of this drawn out pregnancy, compared to this other twin mom!!

I feel SO done. I am so achey, particularly in my back, that I don't know what to do. I have appointments for a prenatal massage and with a chiro next week - I am just hoping that helps a little. I was hoping to go past 40 weeks so that I could finish my semester and take my exam - now I'm thinking if I go at 37-38 weeks, I'll be able to finish up my take-home exam when the baby's a month old, and that'll work out just fine.

Hmmm, I'm wondering if there's some hormonal shift at 32ish weeks. I was also feeling awful last week, ready to just be done, run down, moody. Now (almost 34 weeks) I'm feeling ok again. Yes, I'm still whining about feeling big, I'm frustrated that I can't reach stuff in lab, and don't you dare ask me to make a single extra trip up the stairs, but I feel like I'm coasting now.

If we're all experiencing this, I wonder if there's some underlying cause.

Kiran, that is crazy! Did they really deliver those babies at 32 weeks? That seems so risky.

Does anyone else wake up REALLY sore? I don't know if it is round ligament muscles or what but my whole stomach and back muscles are soooo sore when I wake up, almost painful. I try to sleep properly, on my side with a body pillow between my legs, but I still wake up so sore.

My midwife suggested to get a 4 inch thick foam pad thing for the bed. She said alot of her client say it helps relieve the pressure off the joints and the hips and stuff. I havent tried it yet though! LOL

I will be 32 weeks on Monday and just in the last few days I have been hit with achiness deluxe. Then top that off with flu-like gunk (first I thought it was simply a loss of appetite... then... the joys of diarrhea! TMI? nothing is TMI in pregnancy it seems!)... yuck!

Yesterday I thought I was feeling better (ha!) and it was a gorgeous afternoon (it actually got up into the low 70s!) so the girls, dh and I went outside and played with balls in a soccer-like fashion. I'm not sure what on earth possessed me to play soccer (I never realized before that your abs are used in helping to lift your leg up to kick), but I'm feeling it today. On top of running to the bathroom twice as often -- not only because of bladder issues but beyond.
