We have a smallish wading pool (8ft diameter by about 30 in high). It has a filter too. We don't want to put chemicals in the pool, especially b/c we use the water for irrigation when we drain it. Lately, though, we've got a major algea bloom.

Anybody have any advice on how to keep the pool water at least mostly clean w/o use of chlorine, etc?

my FIL uses something, i think it has to do with enzymes or something-check at the pool chemical place, they should have it there! i think it is a little more expensive than the chemical/chlorine stuff but i dont know for usre.
if no one answers with the name or whatever, give me a pm and i will call & ask him.
