A friend of mine is having a very hard pregnancy with gestational diabetes and her goal for a VBAC. I suggested getting a doula, but theres no way she can afford one as they are already in debt. I thought I might post here and see if any doulas in training my be able to help her out? I know you have to attend births to get certified, right? please post here or PM me if you or anyone you know can help her out, and thank you so much in advance, I know having a doula will help her a lot.

Is she located in Antioch as well? I know someone who may be able to help, but I don't know Bay Area geography very well... she's in Oakland.
