My DS and I got off to a rocky start with BFing, and we quit altogether at 3 weeks. I'd really like to try relactation, and I have a feeling I'm going to need help with it - however, we don't have the money to pay a LC right now. Does anyone know of any free BFing clinics/LCs that I could contact?

I would first start off with the LaLeche Leauge and attend a meeting. The leaders would probably be able to help you, either with physical help, or help you find a low-cost LC. Also, you might want to try the Highland Park hospital breastfeeding warm line. I don't have the # anymore, but the LCs will speak to you on the phone for free, and might be able to refer you. You can look the # on the website www.enh.org

You might also try your pediatricians office for advice. I know that my practice doesn't have an LC on staff, but many do, or will make referrals.
