That's a very nice offer.

( I only know the basics myself but I don't have the time for it right now anyway - and DD likes to " help"
)

I would....depends on the day/time..I started last year, but am very uncomfortable and want to get comfy with it, lol
My sis lives in quincy and I can't visit her for long cuz she has cats and I'm allergic, so I would love another thing to do when in the area, sometimes I drop off my kids for a much needed aunty visit and go shopping, but I'm not a shopper, lol. I think she has tuesdays or thursdays off............
you can email me too

Hi Rachel,

I would love to learn to knit. Unfortunately I live in CT
so your group is too far for me. I think that it's great that you want to share your gift with others.
Are there any knitters in CT willing to teach? Have needles, will travel!

last september I offered a knitting/handwork day at my home. I learned how to knit, but stopped when the get-togethers stopped, so I still consider myself a newbie knitter, lol
I am ofering this again this year, Mainly I offer it to my homeschool group, but am extending it this year to other groups

I have a large yard and a fenced in play area, so we knitted outside until the needles got too cold(In late Nov) There were all ages of children and the 3's and up were finger knitting or knitting themselves. We had newbies and moms who spun their own yarn. When it rained we knitted inside, but it was too much going on inside, so outside works best.
I live in smithfield, ri right off 295 near rte 44
If you're interested, email me (if you click on my name there's an email option, my inbox fills up too quickly!)

Oh now that would be fun. I have the same problem as Stacey in that I'm terribly allergic to cats so I can't go to a lot of friends homes. I know you're a part of SS AP rachel--as am I . I just haven't posted in awhile. I'd be happy to get together & would LOVE to have you teach me
