Any Celiacs in Eastern NC?

251 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  beanma
I'm in Mount Olive, about an hour south of Raleigh. I and my children were diagnosed as celiac this week. I'm looking for any resources for celiacs near Cary/Raleigh, Fayetteville, Wilmington or Greenville- I live in the middle of those four locations, and can travel to any of the four areas.

Thanks.

ETA: I need any resources- food souces, doctors, eating out recommendations, anything you can muster to help get me on my feet.

We are in W-Salem but I know that Carrabba's Italian Grill offers a menu for Celiac's.... my husband owns/runs one and has had private parties for members of the local celiac group. Good luck to you!
whole foods has a nice selection of gluten-free baked goods. i have several friends who are celiac or wheat/gluten intolerant in chapel hill. maybe one of them will post if you're interested in info from this neck of the woods.
