I'd say, 'sure'. You are above the coverline & are 2 days 'late'.

Things to consider: is your cycle consistent in length? have you done anything different (like add progesterone) this cycle?

Everyone's cycles are different. When I started charting, my cycles for some reason became shorter around the same time. Also, i was unaware of my lutenal phase length til I was charting. My guess is this is yor first cycle charting, so we're not sure if you ovulated later this cycle than usual.

I say 'sure' because really anything is possible. The only way to know for sure is wait (or test).

I agree with Michelle. Anything is possible!! Your temp is still above coverline, so don't worry too much about the drop. It ain't over til AF has reared her ugly head!

Charting isn't an exact science, but it is a useful tool. I'd wait a couple of days and if AF hasn't arrived, test again. Best of luck to you!!!

One more thing, it doesn't appear that you temped all the way through your cycle, so your chart could be a bit skewed by that. Just temping a few days before anticipated O can actually screw up your chart by not giving the software the earlier temps to use as a reference point. Because it recognizes patterns, it can be thrown off by that.

I just started temping this cycle where the temps start, so yeah, it is kind of hard to tell what's what.

As far as my previous cycles, they have generally been around 29-32 days. I never knew when I o'd so DH and i always BD around the 15th day of my cycle. I used a OPK this cycle to see and I definitely O'd a lot later than I thought.

I have not used progesterone.

SereneBabe - what is kwim?

Also, what is POAS? I don't know that I've heard of it. I'm kind of new to all of this. We have been "trying" for about 8 months, but I guess not trying hard enough because I just started temping, using OPK and paying attention to my cervical fluid.

Thanks for all the input!!

Um, yeah, I knew that. hahaha

I took a test yesterday afternoon and it was negative. It was not an EPT, but rather one that said can be taken as soon as first missed day. I was (according to FF) 11 DPO yesterday. Do you think that was too soon to test?

sharshine, may I recommend that you find yourself a copy of the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility"? It will help you out a LOT. I believe every woman should read that book. As I'm sure KrystalC can tell you, it is a very good way to educate yourself about yourself. (she's been a great help to me the last couple of days... *thanks KrystalC*)
Oh, and KWIM = know what I meam?
c_something & MommytoTwo I think you're POAS junkies
(I'm here with you though...)

11 dpo is a little early for testing, especially if you take into consideration the fact that the average range for implantation is 7 to 10 dpo, but it's not unheard of to get a BFP that early. Generally speaking, the most reliable test day is 14 dpo.

TCOYF is a really good book for learning the tricks to charting. You can also find a lot of really good information on Fertility Friend's FAQ and through their message boards. If you're a VIP member, you can even ask their guides for charting interpretation and support if a cycle gets really confusing. I'm well-versed, but those girls are pros!!

TCOYF changed my life.

She writes about being shocked that we know so little about our bodies and it's TRUE! How did I not know this for so long?

How did I call my fluid MUCUS for so long? No WONDER I thought I was gross, MUCUS?!?!? Seminal MUCUS? I think not.

Anyway, I'm at the point where I'm going to wait the full 18 days before I test even though I got tests from a friend (http://www.freedompondmoonworks.com/) (am I allowed to post that?) for under $2 or $3 each (I forget). If it's been 18 chances are REALLY good I'm preggers and, well, it's torture to wait, but the faint false positive lines have fooled me in the past.

Hahaha my RE said it was mucus. Went in for the post-coital test... he says "Your cervical mucus looks good." Gee thanks, I think.

I don't think it matters too much what it's called. It's part of you and plays an important role in the conception process, so it's GOOD stuff to have!!!!!
