I just had my first craving Saturday night. I was craving scrambled eggs like crazy! I asked DH to make them for me and he laughed and said "Wow, finally, you get a weird craving". Eww, the idea of scrambled eggs sounds gross, but they were goooood. Have any of you ladies been craving stuff?

Oh my, scrambled eggs is not weied or gross around here. It has been a common breakfast food for us for years.

I am craving apples this time. Apples and applesauce and salad.

Everyone keeps trying to put bananas in my face all the time because I apparently ate them a lot during my pregnancy w/ ds. I had to tell them to stop that I don't want ANY bananas!!

Well, my last craving was chips with dip, but that has passed, right now I am not sure what I want. Nothing is particularly fabulous to me right now. Well, I take that back pizza and nachos are always good in my house! I have this awesome thin crust soaked grain pizza dough recipe that I have been craving like crazy. I need to find some good cheese though, hard in a small place like this.

crunchy_mama: Thanks for the recipe link. How "sour" is the bread after sitting for 4 hours? Also, have you tried freezing it? I'm looking for some good freezer recipes - I plan to stock up a couple months before April

Gummi Bears/Worms....any kind of fruity chewy candy. I find this very odd, because I used to choose chocolate candy over any other kind, but now....I'd MUCH rather have a big bag of Starburst or Skittles. I'm sure all that red #40 and whatnot is great for the baby! : ....but I have only given into my craving a few times.

Egg salad sandwiches. SO strange, because the smell is usually enough to turn me off but these days they are just like a little bite of heaven.

Chocolate milk! It's funny, I have hated chocolate milk since I was little--all the other children in school would always get the choc milk and I would be the only one to get the white. Also, we gave up milk about 4 years ago in our family and except for occasional cooking with it we definately haven't been drinking it--yuck. Now I can't get enough!! I am making my chocolate milk with ovaltine which I guess is supposed to be somewhat healthier than the alternative, but it still kind of messes with my head to be drinking all this
