Hi - we just moved down from Canada a few months ago. Up there we saw a family doctor who treated all of us, me, dh, and both kids. I LOVED that - it was so convenient. Is there anything like that here? Right now I'm seeing an OB for my pregnancy (but need a C-section so I guess that's how it would have to be anyway) and my boys have seen a ped a few times. I like the ped fine, and I'm comfortable enough in my parenting decision that I'm not really worried about "advice" I may or may not get from him.

However, I'd much prefer a family doctor - does that exist? Can anyone recommend a good one (i.e., one that will be supportive of bfing, cosleeping, no early solids, etc)? I do vax so that's not a concern.

Oh, we'll be living on the EG/Warwick line.

TIA!!

Hey Molly!

I've heard good things about Dr. Wilson in Cranston. I can't seem to find a phone number for him though.

My Bradley teacher had recommended him back when we were pregnant with DD but at that time he wasn't taking new patients.

If you are able to come to the birth network meeting today be sure to ask around!!
