My dd is finally starting to get tired of peanut butter every day in her lunch. She's had ham rolled up 2x last week, and she had tuna salad one day. I need some ideas for her lunch. Any suggestions?<br><br>
I need ideas too! I'm so sick of steaming veggies every night I could cry. How old is your DD?<br><br>
My DS is 16 months. He gets packed:<br><br>
breakfast: a bagel or waffle, a piece of fruit.<br>
lunch: yogurt, cheese or pasta; a steamed veggie; a piece of fruit.<br>
snack: raisins; cheerios; other cereals, etc.<br><br><br>
For your DD: how about a bagel with cream cheese? A veggie salad or veggie wrap? Cheese, pepperoni, & crackers?
Flatbread or tortillas cut up w/:<br><br>
hummus, guacamole, or peanut butter for dipping<br><br>
fresh veggies to munch on like baby carrots<br>
fruit: bananas, apple slices, etc.<br><br>
celery w/ peanut butter. Try almond or cashew butter instead for variety.<br><br>
What do YOU eat for lunch?<br><br>
Right now my DD is noshing a slice of pizza she swiped from my plate...w/ me to keep a close eye on her of course to make sure she doesn't choke on it. So much for no dairy.
