Hi everyone I am new to the forum and I need some advice.

I found out I was pregers on June 14th. I worked it out that I was around 5 1/2 weeks. I had some minor bleading at my count 8 weeks and went to the hospital to get checked out. The Dr said it was old blood and it was nothing to worry about my levels were still going up. He told me to see my regular Dr. the following week. I did as he said and my regular Dr. sent me for an ultrasound. Got the results back and the fetus was at 5 1/2 weeks and there was no heart beat. Now she said that I could have been wrong on my dates or the fetus stoped growing at 5 1/2 weeks. I am going for another ultrasound to day which is week later from the last. I still feel pregnant I am having moring sickness day and night, my breast's are tender, I haven't had any more bleeding at all and no cramping. If I had lost the fetus would I still be having my pregnancy symptons? Can any one help.
Thanks

Not sure on the symptoms but I'd wait it out as long as possible..You wouldn't want to have a D&C when there's a possibility the pg might be viable!

i recently found out my baby died and stopped growing at 8 weeks. i went in at about 10 and a half weeks. i was still having symptoms, although they were tapering off. so the placenta keeps working and producing the hormones until your body catches up with the fact that the baby died. it is so sad, and i hope in your case they are wrong.

Well I went in for my second ultrasound and I was still at 5 1/2 weeks with no heart beat. I was at this point into my 9th week. My O.B called it a Missed Abortion. The baby stopped growing at 5 1/2 weeks because that's just what happens some times but my body didn't know it and kept going like I was still pregers. I had a D & C on July 1 and it was sad but I know it happens. So I am moving on and my husband and I will try again soon.

I hope you are wrong on your dates. I have had 2 losses and continued for some time to feel pregnant and saw the #'s rise as well. Eventually they went down and the symptoms stopped, but it took a while. I was around 6 weeks both times. It was months before the hormones went down enough for the symptoms to subside. I hope it's not the case with you.
