Anyone have any info/personal experience/etc?<br><br>
DP's best friend is wanting to report his Aunt (anon) but only if it is going to result in some help for his cousins <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad"><br><br>
Any input?<br><br>

I have no idea. Suppose it depends on how severe the case might be and how overworked the CPS case workers are.

You can always call and ask if things are reportable. Sometimes they can't do anything right away but if enough complaints or calls come in at least there is a paper trail.

I know quite alot about cps functioning in Alaska, but one can never guarantee how a case will play out. What I would do is call the office and tell them the "hypothetical" situation and ask how they would likely respond in such a scenario. Although this is also not a guarantee of exactly how a case will progress, but it might give you a better idea, and make you more or less confident about contacting them. Things will go far more smoothly if there are capable relatives available to help out...
