We have a daughter, 8, who has FASD. We've taken a relaxed approach to diagnosis with DD, trying to let her show us what she can do with out labels. The FAS diagnosis has been there from birth though, and unfortunately it's looking like an accurate diagnosis. There seem to be a lot of challenges unique to this spectrum of disorders and I was wondering if any of you Mama's here are dealing with them. It gets lonely out here in mainstream parenting, and we're trying to muddle through FASD books to find a system of teaching that works for her and us.
